It seems an Abridger has found this site

I was searching for a few thing on Google when I happened upon this site. I'm impressed, it must have taken a lot of work to find all these Abridged Series and organize everything. So, I decided that the least I could do was register on the forums and give my compliments.

So, as you can see, I'm EliteslayerX, one of the creators of Ranma 1/2 Abridged. I know I'm not the best abridger around, or even one of the most well-known (I've only got about 150 or so subscribers, which is nothing compared to the more popular ones), but ZomgRuler and I, as well as all our voice actors, put a lot of hard work into our series, so we hope the episodes are enjoyable nonetheless.

If there's any questions I can answer, ask away. Any advice I can give, ask and I'll give it. I hope to be of assistance if I can.

Also, you may be interested to know, just today I edited most of episode ten of Ranma Abridged. It should be finished and up within a few days. More to come when it's finished.

Its been about a month now since I've joined and despite all of the craftsmanship and hardwork that has obviously been poured into this forum and site, you are still the first person besides me and the webmaster to post here.

I actually found this site when I noticed the link to my 7th TMM in a Nutshell episode on Youtube about 1 1/2 months ago. I tried to register but my regular address never got an activation email. So I had to get another e-mail account to join.

I'm sure more people will join eventually, it just takes time. It'll spread through word-of-mouth, though that's a slow-but-steady way of going about it. Just gotta make sure there are links to it around the net that people can find.

And on another note, at FanimeCon 2009, I hosted the panel "Abridging a Series." While there, audience volunteers recorded lines to abridge "Tales of the Abyss." However, Bandai keeps removing it whenever I upload it, so you'll want to watch it quickly, before they remove it again. Too be safe, it's also on veoh and megavideo.

Hey EVAlaunchproductions here. Good work on the site, dude. Ive been watching the videos here, hoping to learn some tips for my own series that i'm working on. My series still hasnt been up for very long so I doubt many people have seen it but I am going to put my heart and soul into it with the two other members of my team. Keep up the good work on the side, dudes. So long as we're introducing ourselves, I'm truthordeal. Thus far in my abridging "career" I've done one Inuyasha movie(Swords of an Honorable Ruler) and 8 episodes(7 on Youtube) of my own Zoids Zero Abridged Series.

Well, after reading this topic, I had to just up and join. I mean, I'd been trying to find the source of my "viral" hits for a while and I found here.

Hi, I'm Blade, better known as TutuOnAbridger. I'm the technical part of the six person team who works on Princess Tutu Abridged. (We just finished the sixth episode.) Don't feel bad if you've never heard of us, it's one of those abridged series which most people will never watch just due to the obscureness of the subject matter. I was really flattered at finding it listed here with all the others.

We have... Wow... Actually we have 120 subscribers, I hadn't really ever checked before. Tutu Abridged for me is really a labor of love. It gives me an excuse to hang out with a lot of people I like and then to work with a project that really gives a good result for people to see. (Not to mention it's a breeding ground for personal jokes between the cast.)

Anyway, I'm a fairly low-tech abridged series maker, so I look forward to watching the various tutorial type videos you have archived.

Welcome, TutuOn. I have never heard of the series your abridging but welcome to the site non the less. I'll check out your series later today after I finish some work on episode 2 of my NGE Abridged series.

Thank you very much. I'll be sure to check out your series as well, although I haven't actually ever seen NGE, so it should be interesting. (This is not without precedent, The Code Geass Abridged series is what got me hooked on the real one.)

It's my first attempt at abridging so I don't think you'll find it to be that good but I hope you have a luls or two non the less.

Sorry I haven't checked in for like over two months. I just about gave up on this forums page and just kept working on all the other aspects of the website but it's awesome to see so many people have found this page. Hey Everybody I am Spanish Bard and I am new to the site. I am a big fan of anime, manga, and abridged series so I had to join. I checked the list of shows that you have posted and I havent heard of a lot of these, so thanks for all the new shows to watch. I am actually working on an abridged series myself right now because I couldnt find one that was funny enough or told the story well enough for a show that I love. So I am working on Air Gear Abridged. Right now I only finished the editing for the first episode and I still have to work up the script, and the voice work and music and soundeffects. I posted on another of the topic areas but since It didnt have to many views I thought I would write some of the info here as well. If anybody wants to try some voice acting I am willing to try and work you in. Right now I have a four person team called CNE Productions but they are mostly family and with such an epic show I need a bigger cast.
